JOB DESCRIPTION: -
- Liaise with M&E contractors and subcontractors to monitor progress and ensure timely completion of M&E works
- Review and approve M&E shop drawings, method statements, and other technical submissions
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure M&E installations are carried out according to specifications and approved drawings
- Identify and resolve any M&E-related issues or discrepancies that arise during the construction process
- Coordinate with the design team to address any design changes or clarifications related to M&E systems
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all M&E activities, including progress reports and quality assurance records
- Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team on M&E-related matters
JOB REQUIREMENTS: -
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar M&E coordination role in the construction industry
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations
- Proficient in reading and interpreting M&E drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to M&E systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- George Town: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
