Job Overview:
The Marketing & Leasing Executive is responsible for implementing marketing strategies to promote leasing of commercial, retail, or residential spaces. This role involves identifying prospective tenants, negotiating lease terms, preparing leasing documents, and ensuring high occupancy rates. The executive collaborates closely with the marketing and property management teams to meet revenue targets and enhance tenant satisfaction.
Job Description
- Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns to attract potential tenants.
- Source, identify, and approach prospective tenants via multiple channels (digital, events, agents, etc.).
- Conduct market research on competitors, rental rates, and customer preferences.
- Manage and update leasing databases, listings, advertisements, and digital platforms.
- Conduct site visits, property viewings, and coordinate with the operation team for readiness.
- Prepare tenancy agreements, leasing proposals, and renewal notices.
- Monitor lease expirations, renewals, and tenancy turnover.
- Maintain positive relationships with tenants to ensure retention and resolve issues.
- Provide weekly and monthly leasing and marketing reports to management.
- Support in organizing promotional activities, events, and campaigns to boost occupancy.
- Maintain proper filing documents, for each tenant, as well as entering data and maintaining databases
- Any other duties assigned by immediate superior.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in property leasing or marketing.
- Good understanding of leasing procedures and legal tenancy documentation.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and social media platforms.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to travel locally and attend marketing events when required.
- Candidates who have relevant experience in the same industry will have an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
