Manual Tester – Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our client’s QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and executing test cases, defect management, and ensuring application quality within banking environments.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute manual test cases based on functional requirements
- Perform functional, regression, and system testing
- Identify, report, and follow up on bugs using defect tracking tools
- Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams
- Document test results and support UAT when needed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing
- Banking domain experience is mandatory
- Proficient with tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Must be currently located in Malaysia
Manual API Tester – Job Description
We are also hiring a Manual API Tester responsible for validating REST/SOAP APIs, conducting integration tests, and ensuring smooth backend functionality across financial systems.
Responsibilities:
- Validate API responses, status codes, payloads, and headers
- Write and maintain test cases and test data for various endpoints
- Collaborate with backend and QA teams in an Agile setup
- Ensure accurate defect logging and traceability
Requirements:
- 3+ years of manual API testing experience
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML
- Banking domain experience is mandatory
- Familiarity with API documentation tools
- Based in Malaysia and available to join on contract
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
