- To support the Group Productivity Promotion department.
- To support productivity excellence activities for the Tan Chong Motor Holding (TCMH), APM Holding (APMH) and Warisan Holding (WTCH) group of companies.
Responsibilities:
- Champion, mentor, plan, lead, and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on Lean Methodology and Industrial Efficiency.
- Deploy lean manufacturing tools to identify and eliminate the seven wastes in manufacturing operations.
- Lead the implementation and sustainment of lean concepts such as 5S, Kaizen, Visual Controls, Standard Work, Pull System, Value Stream Mapping, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and SMED.
- Support capacity analysis and conduct time studies on equipment uptime and cycle time for continuous improvement.
- Promote and sustain a continuous improvement culture aimed at reducing costs, improving quality, and enhancing safety across operations.
- Develop and implement metrics to monitor progress, focusing on Industrial Efficiency (IE), Net Equipment Effectiveness (NEE), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OE), and cost reduction aligned with Productivity KPIs.
- Regularly communicate key outcomes and cost-saving initiatives to the productivity team and other relevant stakeholders.
- Share and benchmark productivity best practices across the company and various plants.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related Manufacturing field.
- Additional education or certification in Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Six Sigma is an added advantage.
- For Diploma holders: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in process improvement, with knowledge in Lean or Industrial Engineering considered an advantage.
- For Degree holders: Minimum 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience, with hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering implementation required.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (GB) or Black Belt (BB) is a plus.

- Proven track record in executing Lean projects with measurable cost savings.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and driven by continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to other operational locations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
