Job Summary:
Grand Swiss Bel Hotel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team. This role is essential to maintaining the hotel's facilities to the highest standards of safety, functionality and guest satisfaction. The Maintenance Technician will handle day to day repair and upkeep tasks across guest rooms, public areas and back of house spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas and service equipment to identify issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and resolve problems efficiently to minimize guest inconvenience.
- Repair or replace defective parts in fixtures, furniture, lighting and appliances.
- Maintain and operate hotel equipment, including elevators, air conditioning systems, water pumps and boilers.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front office teams to address maintenance concerns.
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with hotel standards and local safety regulations.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work, inspections and repairs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent technical training or relevant certification preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role, preferably in the hotel industry.
- Prior hotel or resort maintenance experience
- Solid understanding of building systems including electrical, plumbing and basic carpentry.
- Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize work assignments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
