To upkeep branches and HQ with respect to the facilities maintenance, eg. lighting, locksets, basic cabling works, basic plumbing works, etc.
To ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of all equipment, systems, and facilities by performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
Job Descriptions:
1. Branch/Fair Maintenance/HQ
- To compile and record Outlet / Service Request (OSR) and HQ Service Request form from Branches, Fairs or HQ staff on daily basis.
- To understand the details of OSR and propose long term solution for better efficiency and lower cost.
- To provide advice to outstation branches to seek their respective local contractors to resolve the OSR.
- To arrange maintenance stocks for outstation branches.
- To respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
- To visit outstation branches for maintenance works if necessary.
- To conduct regular checks at the branches for any faulty appliances.
2. HQ Maintenance
- Conduct daily inspections of HQ facilities including air-con, lighting, electrical panels, water systems, office fixtures, and building infrastructure.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with company schedules and standards.
- Respond promptly to facility-related service requests or emergencies, including off-hours calls when necessary.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or structural issues.
- Ensure that all work complies with safety, building, and company regulations.
- Collaborate with external contractors, vendors, or service providers when needed.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
- Support office moves, equipment installation, and other facility-related tasks.
3. Others
- To undertake other work or expertise related tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
- To resolve the OSR for local branches within 3 working days.
- If the OSR to be resolved by contractor, to finalize solution from contractor within 7 working days.
- To do lighting stocks take on bi-monthly basis.
Job Requirements:
- SPM and/or Certificate in Maintenance or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of hands-on experience in related field.
- Knowledge of handyman skills such as minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Knowledge of basic health and safety rules and regulations.
- Possess a good command of Bahasa Malaysia or English.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work pro-actively to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Must be comfortable working at heights, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, or on rooftops.
- Ability to safely access and perform maintenance tasks in elevated or confined areas.
- No fear of heights and willingness to work in elevated environments as required.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or irregular hours as needed.
- Must be available for standby/on-call duty to respond to urgent maintenance issues outside of regular working hours.
- Flexibility to support emergency repairs or unplanned maintenance events at short notice.
