We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Technician responsible for the maintenance and repair of forklifts and other mobile vehicles used in daily operations. The candidate must have hands-on experience in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, conducting routine servicing, and performing necessary repairs to ensure all equipment remains in safe and operational condition. Familiarity with hydraulic systems, battery-powered equipment, and general workshop practices is required. The technician must also adhere to safety standards and maintain accurate service records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in forklift and mobile vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to perform diagnostic and troubleshooting tasks
- Possession of relevant technical certifications is an advantage
- Able to work independently and respond promptly to breakdowns
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in forklift and mobile vehicle maintenance
- Valid forklift operator license (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
