The following job duties are general requirements and are not to be considered all-inclusive. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time, as needed.
- To handle import shipment from prepare the necessary shipping documents from inwards of the containers until touch down warehouse for loading & unloading. (import & export)
- To communicate & coordinate with warehouse person in unloading affairs before unloading/loading.
- To communicate with QA for containers fumigate , if required.
- To communicate with haulier & forwarding agent in term of custom clearance issue & movement of the containers (inwards & outwards)
- To ensure no additional DnD charges during the logistics process
- Keep track & record on the import & export operation of container movement.
- Arrange transportation between plant & warehouse to ensure no impact to plant operation.
- Keep proper file & scanning of the shipping documents , for audit purpose.
- Raise Purchase Requisition for the purpose of account to make payment to service provider, and keep track on the record.
- Ensure correct billing from service provider with proper record for tracebility purpose.
- Assist department head in any logistics affairs to fulfil the objective of the department.
- Able to coordinate, communicate internally & externally, well managed to ensure all job completed on time to fulfil the logistics process.
Additional Notes : Required education; knowledges and skills. Diploma or above2 years experience in related field. Well-versed in SAP system, MS Excel Spreadsheet and Powerpoint.
