Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the University’s mission by supporting its innovative educational model, with the aim of positioning it as a leading Open and Distance Learning (ODL) institution in the region.
- Build and sustain strategic partnerships with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and business organizations to design and deliver collaborative diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure the effective development and delivery of high-quality curricula across diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels.
- Design, deliver, and coordinate teaching and learning materials for undergraduate and postgraduate courses through ODL, online platforms, and traditional classroom settings within the School’s academic scope.
- Engage in research activities, publish scholarly work, and contribute to consultancy projects within the discipline.
- Support the School in developing new academic programmes, enhancing teaching effectiveness, and coordinating seminars, workshops, and other academic events.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements, including preparation of documentation and support for MQA Full Accreditation and Maintenance Audit processes.
Job Requirements
- PhD in Special Needs Education or a closely related field.
- Proven experience in online and distance learning methodologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a higher education environment.
- Strong understanding of current trends and innovations in open and distance learning.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- The position is available at either the Penang or Kuala Lumpur campus, based on candidate preference and location.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
