Position Type: Full-Time
We are looking for hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helpers to support daily cafeteria operations and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs in basic food preparation and ingredient handling.
- Wash, peel, and cut fruits, vegetables, and other food items.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Wash dishes and ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed.
- Help with receiving, unpacking, and storing kitchen supplies.
- Dispose of kitchen waste responsibly and keep storage areas organized.
- Refill food stations and assist in serving meals during peak hours.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift light items
- Willingness to maintain cleanliness and assist in various kitchen duties
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Punctual, responsible, and respectful in a school setting
- Must be available to work weekdays during school hours
