Key Responsibilities
Account Penetration & Relationship Building
- Build strong, lasting relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, and other specifiers.
- Promote products for inclusion in design and project specifications.
Project Specification & Conversion
- Identify upcoming construction or renovation projects.
- Ensure surfaces are specified from initial design through to procurement.
Strategic Business Development
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts.
- Identify business growth opportunities and convert project pipelines into sales.
Presentations & Product Positioning
- Deliver impactful presentations and demos to design professionals.
- Promote design trends, innovation, and application expertise aligned with client needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams to align specification efforts with commercial execution.
- Share market insights with product and marketing teams.
CRM & Reporting
- Keep detailed records of client activity, project progress, and pipeline tracking.
- Report regularly on sales performance, account health, and market intelligence.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B or specification sales within the building materials, interior design, or architectural products industry.
- Strong network and deep understanding of the Architecture & Design (A&D) community in Malaysia.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.
- Willingness to travel within Klang Valley.
