Job Description:
- Spearhead strategies for managing key accounts to drive sales growth, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen customer loyalty.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with major clients while exploring new business opportunities.
- Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to support informed business decisions.
- Develop and execute customized promotional and trade initiatives that ensure a strong return on investment.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of account plans.
- Oversee account forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
- Address client issues promptly and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Guide and support junior team members to improve their performance and professional development.
- Deliver regular business reviews and progress updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in sales or key account management within the FMCG industry, including at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven track record in managing major retail chain accounts and achieving strong sales performance.
- Experience in handling both international and local chain accounts such as Watsons, 99 Speedmart and Econsave.
- Proficient in English (written & verbal); ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and structured planning capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Able to manage and nurture customer relationships proactively and systematically, even without formal CRM systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
