Key responsibilities will include
- Involvement in the daily finance operations, including expense and invoice entry of the local and global entities.
- Support accounts payable activities including cost entry into the accounting system and group AR/AP reporting.
- Support regulatory filings and submission including VAT and other applicable requirements by organising and collating data and documentation.
- General Ledger entry, ensuring accurate entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Assist with bank account reconciliations.
- Assist with cash book reconcilliations.
- Support the improvement of financial operations.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to meet deadlines consistently.
- Demonstrate good knowledge in crypto asset, FX and payment industries.
- Demonstrate good understanding in accounting principles regarding financial record keeping including accruals, prepayments and cost recognition.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Working towards a professional accountancy qualification from ACCA, CIMA, or other relevant associations a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Junior Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in the financial industry or cryptocurrency.
- Knowledge of FinTech, blockchain and cryptocurrency.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Capable of working as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Strong excel skills, ability to handle large amounts of data.
