The incumbent will be reporting to Sr Manager, Accounting, responsible for the achievement of quality, accuracy, completeness and timely delivery of accounting request in accordance to the defined SLAs/KPIs. This incumbent will be support to execute the process initiative to streamline the accounting processes. The key accountability include ensuring compliance to Group policies and procedures and relevant legal and statutory requirement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Technical & Compliance
Revenue recognition
- Prepare monthly Deferred revenue schedule and amortization entries
- Prepare and complete monthly accrual entries and maintain accrual control worksheet for revenue
- Month end flux analysis by account by customer
Account payables
- Responsible for all processes in connection with vendor reimbursements, including vendor maintenance, invoice processing, and vendor account reconciliations
- Responsible for preparation of month end accruals for uninvoiced purchase requests and purchase orders, recurring vendors/contractors, and invoices received after AP entry cutoff
- Responsible for preparation and processing of wire payments and ACH
- Monthly MasterCard accrual for corporate travel, marketing, and human resources
- Prepare reclassification entries as needed
- Assist with ERP conversion
General
- Prepare daily cash report
- Responsible for the quality, accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of monthly and yearly closing
- Ensure compliance to internal and external regulations and
- Ensure compliance to Group accounting standards (US GAAP)
- Identify, facilitate, and implement process improvement ideas to improve process
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities and regulatory authorities as required for the countries served in (including bank requirements)
- Perform all other duties assigned and required
- Special projects as requested
Required Skills
- Detail oriented, organized and independent worker.
Required Experience
Required Experience:
- Degree in Accountancy
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Accounting roles which include handling full sets of accounts, review and analysis of financial information and, etc
- Proficiency in accounting system, preferably Navision & Netsuite
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge and experience with reporting requirement of the GAAP, IFRS
- Resourceful and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment (including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods)
- Possess strong organizational, analytical, good interpersonal skills, independent and team player.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
