IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT
DESCRIPTIONS:
Technical Assistance and Troubleshooting:
· Respond promptly to support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
· Provide step-by-step technical support to employees and clients.
System Maintenance and Updates:
· Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, system backups, and optimizations.
· Ensure all IT systems are functioning smoothly and securely.
· Proactively monitor systems to prevent potential issues.
Network and Security Management:
· Monitor and maintain the network infrastructure to ensure stable and reliable connectivity.
· Implement and enforce IT security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches.
· Coordinate with network specialists for complex network issues and upgrades.
Documentation and Reporting:
· Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and IT processes.
· Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.
· Generate regular reports on support activities, system performance, and security incidents.
Hardware and Software Management:
· Ensure all equipment is properly configured and maintained.
· Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, and support services.
Customer Service Excellence:
· Follow up with users to ensure issues are fully resolved and gather feedback to improve support processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DKM Level 5.
· Proven experience in IT technical support or a related role.
· Strong knowledge if Windows and Mac operating systems.
· Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
· Customer-oriented with a strong commitment to providing high-quality support.
· A+, Network+ or similar IT certification are a plus.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Working Days:
Mon - Fri (8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.)
Saturday (8:30a.m - 1:00 p.m.) (alternative)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
