Internship Job Description – Cost Engineering Estimation
Department: Cost Engineering (Upstream)
Location: Level 42, Menara Permata Sapura
Key Responsibilities
1) Cost Engineering AI
- Assist in performing analysis and data engineering for Cost Engineering AI initiatives.
- Support updates to the cost data in the existing tool, including enhancement efforts.
2) Project Support
- Provide assistance in cost estimating, cost risk assessment, and tendering exercises to ensure compliance with standards and technical integrity.
3) Cost Analysis and Benchmarking
- Provide support to the maintenance of market intelligence and trend databases, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.
4) Technical Documentation
- Assist in preparing engineering reports, technical calculations, and design documentation.
5) Innovation and Sustainability
- Assist in developing, conducting and performing strategic initiatives focusing on improving the sustainability and efficiency of cost engineering deliverables.
6) Networking and Relationship Building
- Foster effective working relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
7) Codes of Conduct (COCD) and HSE Policies
- Uphold Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and Codes of Conduct and Discipline (COCD), supporting mitigation and intervention programs.
8) Mindset, Behaviour and Culture
- Promote a culture of commitment, ownership, integrity, and loyalty through value-based interventions and collaboration.
