Internship Scope & Responsibilities
As an intern in the Tooling Section, you will gain hands-on experience in:
- Assisting in tooling maintenance, repair, and preventive schedules.
- Supporting tooling technicians and engineers in mold setup and debugging.
- Performing tool inspections and reporting abnormalities.
- Exposure EDM processes, and mold components.
- Assisting in tool design reviews and documentation using CAD software.
Eligibility Criteria
We welcome students from the following faculties:
- Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
- Faculty of Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
- Faculty of Mechatronics or Electromechanical Engineering
- Faculty of Precision/Tool & Die Engineering
Preferred qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree students in relevant courses
- Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Familiar with manufacturing processes and mechanical components
- Willingness to learn and hands-on practical tasks
