JOB OVERVIEW
SIDEC’s Semiconductor Technical Division is seeking a meticulous and driven Administration Intern to assist with day-to-day documentation, interdepartmental coordination, and administrative support. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry and public-private collaboration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Government Documentation & Coordination
- Assist in the preparation and processing of:
- MMKN & MMKN reports
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
- Letters of Intent (LOI)
- Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
- Letters and memos to relevant government agencies
- Work closely with the Strategic Planning department for document vetting and alignment
2. Internal Documentation & Workflow
- Draft, manage, and submit internal documentation including:
- Purchase Requisition Forms (PRF)
- Request for Proposals (RFP)
- Internal Memos
- Request for Quotation (RFQ) from vendors
- Vendor Evaluation (VE) and Vendor Summary (VS) reports
- Travel requests, subsistence allowances, and contingency fund forms
- Ensure timely and proper submission through DocuSign in coordination with the authorized signer
3. Meeting Documentation
- Attend meetings (internal and external) and prepare:
- Minutes of Meeting (MoM)
- Accurate notes and action point summaries for follow-up
4. General Administrative Support
- Utilize the official email account: [email protected] for all formal correspondence.
- Provide cross-functional administrative support as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and work independently under supervision.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience with meeting note-taking and documentation
- Interest in semiconductor, tech industry, or government-linked projects
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM800.00 per month
