PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, projectors, IP PAB and others IT accessories.
- To ensure the network usage / IT security is compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Perform daily system health check including network performance monitoring, system resources allocation and utilization, capacity planning and infrastructure security.
- Responsible for vendor management, liaising with SI on problem rectification and forward planning.
- Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
- Collaborates with academic teams for any request or enhancement in term of the IT related matters.
- Proactively addressing IT infrastructure issues that arise
- Take proactive and reactive steps to mitigate security threats against IT assets.
- To maintain domain registration and hosting services
- Support the development, implementation and administration of all IT inclusive of the documentations that compliance with the ISO
- Create strategic goals and convert to easily implemented plans.
- Perform Project management of IT initiatives.
- To provide training and knowledge transfer to junior staff when it is necessary.
- Provide extensive support to areas of technology and multiple departments when necessary.
- Involved in the preparation of the procurement process when it is related to the IT hardware & Software.
- Administer LAN/WAN networking/data communication technologies such as ARUBA switches, Access Point, routers, wireless, LAN, VPN, Security devices, and Load balancers & etc.
- Execute any other related duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education :
- Diploma or Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
- relevant disciplines.
Experience :
- Experience working experience as IT Support/Desktop Support Analyst with relevant work experience in IT Operation support.
- Basic knowledge of networking, personal computer configuration, computer hardware and software maintenance and computer installations and repairs.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN)

- Good English communication, including replying email, updating tickets, and verbal communication with users.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Able to execute instructions effectively and do troubleshooting.
- Good interpersonal skill, able to communicate effectively to the superior, peersand all other levels.
- Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Strong coordination skills with an eye for details, thoroughness, and timeliness
- Effective planning, organizing, coordinating and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
