Job Description
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals, attendance and leave management, and compensation and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Assist top management in developing and refining job descriptions across departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and workforce planning.
- Collaborate closely with Heads of Departments (HODs) to provide strategic input on HR matters such as candidate selection, employee development, career progression, and constructive feedback to drive the company’s long-term growth.
- Fulfil recruitment needs by working with departmental managers to understand manpower requirements and executing effective hiring strategies.
- Responsible for payroll processing and ensuring the accurate and timely handling of employee-related issues, while upholding HR policies and procedures.
- Recommend competitive employee benefits to management and manage all aspects of employee insurance, including Group H&S coverage, claims processing, admissions, and deletions.
- Plan and coordinate monthly engagement activities and company events aimed at enhancing employee welfare and workplace wellness.
- Oversee office administration tasks, including the management of stationery supplies and office repairs and maintenance.
- Manage company agreements and serve as the primary point of contact for labour legislation and legal compliance issues.
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and visitors, in line with occupational safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned on an ad-hoc basis, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR department.
Requirement
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in human resources or a similar administrative capacity.
- Well-versed in Malaysian labor laws, including the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other statutory regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin—both written and verbal—with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Candidates who are able to commence work on short notice will be given preference.
