Responsibilities
- Assist, manage, and coordinate the implementation of HSE and Process Safety (PS) governance at the department level in alignment with company standards and industry best practices.
- Monitor HSE and PS performance, ensuring accurate reporting and follow-up actions to address gaps or potential risks.
- Facilitate and support the execution of continuous improvement plans aimed at strengthening safety culture, risk management, and operational excellence.
- Contribute to the development and management of staff HSE and PS capability through training, knowledge-sharing, and compliance with relevant procedures.
- Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to legal requirements, regulatory obligations, and company HSE policies.
- Support audits, inspections, and incident investigations to drive preventive and corrective measures while maintaining a proactive approach to safety.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in HSE-related field OR Certificate from INSTEP OR equivalent (e.g., 3S certification).
- Must possess valid OGSP and CIDB certifications (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, safety systems, and process safety practices.
- Preferably candidates with relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM13,500.00 per month
