Job Description
- Work closely with other company executives and Management team to achieve common objectives as stipulated in the Business Plan.
- Meeting with potential business partners and maintaining existing client's relationships.
- Monitoring market trends to come up with new business opportunities.
- Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets.
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems.
- To ensure the safety, health and environment processes are adhered by all dealers, company employees and the transporters.
- Assessing risks, implementing actions plans & performs HSE audits.
- Develop safety procedures, rules and standards to ensure quality and consistency.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines in all workplaces.
- Review existing HSE policies & measures and update according to legislation.
- Direct, plan and monitor safety trainings and programs.
- Plan and prepare safety budgets.
Managing virtual or physical meetings with the related parties especially pertaining to the HSE matters.
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
- Record and investigate incidents and accidents (by filling HSE Forms) to determine causes and report to the management for further actions.
- Any other related job as instructed by the General Manager or Management.
Job Specification
Basic Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or HSE field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in HSE areas.
Skills:
The Environment, Health & Safety Executive (HSE) is responsible for preventing workplace deaths, injuries, and illness. They use a variety of methods to influence change and assist people in managing risks at work, including: Providing advice, guidance and information. Engaging and influencing workplaces to raise awareness.
Training: OSH Safety Training, NIOSH.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
