We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of effective Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE procedures, guidelines, and policies across the organization.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations and requirements set by authorities such as DOSH, DOE, AELB, and BOMBA.
- Prepare and manage all HSE-related documentation including risk assessments, safe work procedures, safety plans, inspection reports, and audit findings.
- Support the continuous improvement of the company’s HSE performance through proactive monitoring, inspection, and reporting.
- Conduct HSE training and awareness programs for all levels of staff and contractors.
- Participate in incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions.
- Liaise effectively with regulatory bodies, auditors, and internal departments on all HSE matters.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all activities are conducted in a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in OSH or related on HSE / Quality
- Minimum 1 year of experience and above in a Health, Safety, and Environment role, (preferably in oil & gas, manufacturing is advantage)
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE legislation and requirements (e.g., OSHA 1994, EQA 1974, AELB Act 1984, Fire Services Act 1988).
- Proven experience in drafting and implementing HSE procedures and documentation.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Certification in HSE-related fields (SSS,OSH-C or equivalent) is an added advantages
