Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
We are looking for a HRIT Workday Specialist to join our HR Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Workday along with other HR technology. You are an adaptable professional who can turn broad, ambiguous business questions into scalable solutions.
What are you accountable for?
- Support HRIS related initiatives from an employee life cycle perspective such as onboarding, workforce, expenses, absence, compensation, talent, off-boarding and payroll.
- Own and grow knowledge of relevant product offerings not limited to Workday, PeopleSoft but other systems
- Playing key role in building HRIS (Workday) roadmap
- Build, quality assure and maintain HR system functionality to meet business requirements, which includes configuration of Workday and other systems integration
- You will be trouble shooting complex processes, application and functional issue through resolution
- You will design and operate processes and procedures to keep us in healthy shape and compliant with needed control frameworks, driving data integrity and security initiatives to meet business needs
- You will improve your own as well as our common ways of working, in candid, positive and passionate collaboration with the team
What do you need to have it fit this role?
- Bachelor's Degree in any field (Preferred Computer Science/Information Technology)
- Understand Workday and HRIS information structure, integration, function and processes
- You are experienced with Workday functional areas such as Workforce Management, Recruitment, Absence Management, Compensation, Talent. Experienced on Learning and Prism is a plus.
- You have an understanding of HR policies, roles, and HR processes
- You are highly organized with ability to support multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, work independently and as part of a team
- You have excellent investigation/diagnostic skills and familiar with complex technical problems
- You have a demonstrable ability to build sound relationships and clearly communicate expectations
- You thrive in working with strategy, tactics and execution in your field of expertise
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and timelines
- Agile and ability to adapt to the constants change through innovation
- Curious and forward thinker, have a can do mindset, be a great communicator on technical matters
