Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources
- Oversee the full range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with Malaysia & Sabah labour laws and industry best practices.
- Manage employee records, payroll processing, and benefits administration with accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness.
- Plan and coordinate training & development programs to support employee skills enhancement and career progression.
- Address employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts professionally and fairly.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and HRD Corp.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives to build a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Ensure proper use and administration of the company’s HR management system to enhance efficiency in HR operations.
Administration
- Supervise day-to-day administrative operations such as office management, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure the proper upkeep and management of office facilities, assets, equipment, and supplies.
- Oversee the coordination of company events, meetings, and staff/executive travel arrangements.
- Maintain and update company records, licenses, and permits to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders on HR and administrative matters.
- Enhance operational efficiency through the implementation and continuous improvement of administrative systems and processes.
- Align HR and administrative strategies with business objectives in collaboration with department heads.
- Provide administrative and HR support for new business ventures, projects, and other initiatives as required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably within the property development or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia & Sabah labour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
- Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate teams effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in operating HR management systems (HRMS) and payroll software; experience with Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is an advantage.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
