Responsibilities:
- Making beds and changing linens.
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
- Vacuuming carpets and mopping floors.
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.
- Restocking guest amenities like toiletries, towels, and beverages.
- Emptying trash cans and replacing liners.
- Cleaning lobbies, corridors, stairways, and elevators.
- Maintaining cleanliness in public restrooms.
- Polishing floors and cleaning windows.
Maintenance and Organization:
- Inventory Management:
- Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies, toiletries, and linens.
- Reporting low inventory levels to the supervisor.
- Room Inspections:
- Inspecting rooms for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
- Reporting any damages or necessary repairs to the maintenance department.
- Laundry Services:
- Collecting and sorting soiled linens.
- Folding and storing clean linens.
Guest Services:
- Guest Requests:
- Responding to guest requests for additional amenities, such as extra towels, pillows, or blankets.
- Providing courteous and efficient service to guests.
- Lost and Found:
- Handling and recording items left behind by guests.
- Reporting found items to the housekeeping manager or front desk.
