Position Overview
As the General Manager, you will take full ownership of the Company’s daily operations and strategic execution. This role is ideal for a visionary and hands-on leader with strong business acumen, tech product sensibility, and the ability to drive cross-functional performance. You will work closely with the founder to align vision, scale the platform, and eventually transition into a successor role.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of Company across all departments.
- Translate the founder’s vision into actionable strategies and business plans.
- Drive platform growth, user acquisition, and market expansion initiatives.
- Establish organizational structure, KPIs, and performance metrics for sustainable scaling.
Product Development & Innovation
- Collaborate with the product and tech teams to evolve the platform’s features, UX, and services.
- Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and platform performance to enhance usability.
- Lead initiatives in digital innovation to keep Company competitive and future-ready.
Business & Financial Management
- Take full responsibility for P&L, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor financial performance and conduct ROI and cost-benefit analysis.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and revenue enhancement.
Sales, Marketing & Partnerships
- Oversee brand positioning, digital marketing, and agent onboarding efforts.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with developers, agencies, and key stakeholders.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing cross-functional team.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and goal-oriented work culture.
- Represent Company at key industry events and stakeholder engagements.
Requirements
- Proven experience (8+ years) in general management, operations, or executive leadership roles—ideally in tech, proptech, marketplace platforms, or digital startups.
- Strong knowledge of real estate industry dynamics and digital platforms.
- Track record of managing P&L, driving growth, and scaling businesses.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in product development, UX, and digital marketing strategies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin are a plus.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM30,000.00 per month
