Full Job Description

• Handle all custom formalities with customs and other authorities with regards to custom clearance.
• Manage forwarding activities and ensure that import and export goods are cleared in a timely manner.
• Monitor and update containers through the port system.
• Handle for import and export (eg K1/K2/K4/K8/K9/ZB1/ZB2/ permits required for customs submission).
• To request or compile necessary import and export documentation such as invoices, packing list, Certificate of Origin, other permit requirement.
• Experienced in EDI, DagangNet and Port VGM submission.
• Liaise with clients and agents with proper HS codes and advice duty/ tax amount upon enquiry.
• Handle logistics problems and generate alternative solutions.
• To determine and track duties and taxes payable and process payment to customs on behalf of customer.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ SKILL REQUIREMENT :

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM/STPM,Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• Required Skill(s): customs clearance, customer service and relationship management, government agencies dealings, import and export.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field (customs clearance / declaration / international freight forwarding) is required for this position.
• Computer literate ,MS office skills & able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Able to work 5.5 day working week, All gazetted Public Holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2,300.00 - RM2,600.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift / Night Shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay / allowance
• Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

• KLIA Cargo Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
