Job Summary:
As an F&B Trainee, you will assist in the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department, gaining hands-on experience in service, operations, and guest interaction. This position offers an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of hospitality, service etiquette, and restaurant operations under the guidance of seasoned professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables in restaurants, banquet halls, or bars
- Greet and serve guests in a professional, courteous manner
- Take food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery
- Support kitchen and service staff during busy operations
- Learn and follow health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Handle guest queries and resolve basic complaints under supervision
- Participate in training sessions and on-the-job development programs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment
- Adhere to company policies, standards, and grooming requirement
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field
- Passion for the hospitality industry and eagerness to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is an advantage
- Team player with attention to detail
