Job Overview:
The finance & Operations Executive is resopnsible for managing the restaurant's cash handling, financial transactions, Point of Sale (POS) operations, and inventory control to ensure accuracy, accountability, and effiecincy. This role involves overseeing daily cashiering activities, monitoring financial records, maintining stock levels and ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and proactive in managing both front-of-house cash operations and back-end financial/inventory systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all cash, card, and e-payment transcations at the POS.
- Reconcile daily sales, prepare cashier closing reports, and deposit bank collections.
- Handle petty cash, staff reimbursements, and maintain proper documentation.
- Generate and submit e-invoices as per regulatory requirements.
- Oversee POS functionality, menu updates, pricing changes and promotions.
- Manage CRM system to track guest data, feedback and loyalty programs.
- Work with marketing on campaigns and promotions
- Coordinate with IT/ Vendors for system issues or upgrades.
- Monitor stock of fodd, beverages and supplies to avoid shortage,
- Verify deliveries, record stock movements and ensure accuracy in POS/Finance records.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile differences.
- Ensure proper storage of all items as per food safety stndards.
- Support operational reporting, contracts, licenses, and audit requirements.
- Organize operational meetings and prepare performance documentation.
- Assist in process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experince in cashiering, POS Management, finance, or iventory control, preferably in F&B or retail.
- Strong numercial analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in POS System, Microsoft Excel, and basic accounting software.
- Ability to reconcile accounts, prepare reports, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Execellent organizational and communication skills for team coordincation.
- Knowledge of stock control systems,ERP, or accounting software is an advantage.
- Trustworthy, reliable and able to handle financial responsibilities with intergerity.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
