We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Executive to manage our accounts, oversee a small finance team, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently while supervising others.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities to ensure timely submissions and compliance.
- Supervise and guide 2 finance team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee outsourced service providers for accounting or finance functions, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare management reports and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of full set of accounts and Malaysian financial reporting standards.
- Experience working with auditors and preparing audited financial statements.
- Supervisory experience with small teams.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
