Events and Communications Intern
Office-Based Internship | Minimum 3 Months
We are an American-based Islamic publishing company with an office branch in Malaysia.
We focus on the revival and publication of both contemporary and historical Muslim authors and literature. Our multi-national team is passionate about producing meaningful content, books, and resources that benefit English speaking Muslims locally and globally — with a newly expanding effort for Malay language publications.
We're currently looking for motivated Events and Communications Intern to join our team — with potential for full-time employment after your internship!
Working Language: English (must be fluent in both written and spoken)
Office-Based Internship
Duration: Minimum 3 months
Working Schedule : Typically Monday to Friday (10am to 6pm) with flexibility as needed for special projects, events or urgent tasks.
Eligibility: Must be based in Malaysia.
Requirements:
- Strong interest or background in communications, digital marketing, or event coordination.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and marketing tools.
- Comfortable working with different stakeholders and in fast-paced environments.
- Creative, proactive, and a strong team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and coordinating community events and activations.
- Provide logistical support before, during, and after events.
- Liaise with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- Offer on-ground support and troubleshoot issues in real time
- Create and curate engaging content for various platforms (e.g., social media, newsletters, event materials).
- Manage social media content calendars and scheduling.

Pay: RM1,500.00 per month
