Job description:
- Main Building Work related projects
- To assist the Project Manager / Construction Manager to control and monitor all related Environmental, Safety & Health matters on the project.
- To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the Quality Management System.
- To promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the project.
- To promote customer focus and improvement in the project.
- To comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
- To determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.
- To ensure that applicable environmental, safety and health legal and other requirements are fulfilled.
- To promote environmental, safety and health awareness and conduct induction.
- To implement and monitor environmental, safety and health program at work sites.
- To monitor and control subcontractor’s environmental, safety and health practices.
- To enforce the use of personal protective equipment, and continuously improve environmental, safety and health practices at workplace.
- To enforce the provision of firefighting equipment and first aid kits at workplace.
- To attend to, investigate and report any environmental, safety and health emergency, accidents, near miss accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or diseases at the workplace.
- To conduct environmental, safety and health inspection and internal audits.
- To collect, analyse and maintain statistics on accidents, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or diseases at the workplace.
- To maintain good house-keeping and implement safety practices.
- To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor Degree (Preferred) in relevant discipline.
- Minimum 1.5 years (Environment, Safety & Health Officer) working experience in construction environment, with at least 1 year in a similar capacity.
- Must have JKKP registration (Green Book for Environmental, Safety & Health Officer).
- Familiar with OSHA requirements and knowledgeable in safety practices.
- Computer literate and familiar with MS Office.
- Site based work involving liaison with client representatives and/or consultants, sub-contractors, vendors & related parties for daily site operations
- Possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Related past work experiences in small to medium MBW will be added advantage
- Self-motivated & Pro-activeness in work are highly desired

Pay: RM6,000.00 – RM7,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Site Location Port Klang and Bandar Sunway : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
