Your Impact in This Role
The Reliability Engineer delivers reliability improvement projects and day to day reliability support as well as systematically update and optimize the preventive maintenance strategy to ensure safe operations. Emphasis will be on the ability of all equipment to function without failure, in collaboration with Sibelco plant maintenance, production and engineering teams. You will set-up, follow through and maintain relevant IT processes, reporting to support and visualize maintenance activities and key performance indexes. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Operational Excellence
- Analysis and Key Performance Index Reporting
- Supporting the Maintenance Department
- Ensure compliance with Sibelco Safety Regulations
- Maintain Adequate Spare Parts & Services
- Innovation activities
- Permit matters
What You Bring to the Table
- Advanced communication and reporting skills
- Decision Making
- Planning & Prioritizing
- Effective Communication
- Change & Ambiguity Management
- Subject matter expertise
- Skills: Project Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. A Master’s Degree will be preferred
- 10 - 15 years experience including experience with mechanical design/testing preferably with MNC companies
- Minimum 5 years utility systems/management and/or facilities/plant management and maintenance experience
- Experience in the Mining industry is preferred.
- Proven Project Execution and Management experience.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages are an asset.
