About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Team Leader to lead our Delegates Acquisition team for paid event registrations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving delegate revenue, leading and coaching the sales team, and ensuring sales targets are consistently achieved for our premium events and conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of Delegate Acquisition Executives to achieve individual and group sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize paid delegate registrations for assigned events.
- Identify and segment target audiences, ensuring effective outreach to decision-makers and relevant professionals.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals, ensuring a high conversion rate.
- Monitor team performance through KPIs, pipelines, and daily activity tracking, providing guidance and feedback.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and event production teams to align delegate acquisition strategies with event goals.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on team performance, sales figures, and market insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, partners, and VIP clients.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, data accuracy in CRM systems, and adherence to sales protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience (3–5 years) in delegate sales, B2B telesales, or business development within the events/conference industry.
- Prior leadership or team management experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of consultative sales and client acquisition strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven, resilient, and able to thrive under pressure to meet revenue targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to analyze data, forecast trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
