Job Summary:
Support Specialist responsible for providing prompt and effective support to end users by troubleshooting issues, answering queries, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a genuine desire to help people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, or ticketing systems in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide first-level technical support and helpdesk assistance for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Log, track, and manage helpdesk tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and guide customers through solutions or escalate as necessary.
- Assist users with password resets, software installations, account setup, and system access.
- Monitor system performance and notify IT or engineering teams of any irregularities or outages.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles, FAQs, and user guides to improve self-service.
- Identify recurring helpdesk issues and work with IT or product teams to implement permanent fixes.
- Ensure all support KPIs and SLAs are consistently met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in customer support, helpdesk, or technical support roles.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (Ivanti or ServiceNow).
- Basic knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and IT troubleshooting principles.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
