Client is a food specialist in Malaysia. Their customers are of the highest quality hotels and restaurants. As a customer service officer, you will be their daily support to ensure that they are delivered the highest quality produce, with wonderful service too. You will be approachable, helpful, and knowledgeable about our products. A keen eye for details is important to deliver an organized, professional, and outstanding service – always delivered with a smile and positivity.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Answer customer queries and place orders in a professional and timely manner, processing orders from emails, faxes, and phone calls with excellent accuracy.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Engage with customers, forge positive relationships, and confidently represent the company.
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents, including returns, collections, and transportation arrangements.
- Proactively contact customers for business communication and product offers, including daily selling of products.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge. Advise on alternative products, provide in-depth product information, and upsell.
- Manage the order processing system, including up-to-date information changes, knowledge of SAP, and act as a trainer for new users.
- Have strong knowledge of various suppliers' portals and maintain them.
- Be the first point of contact for visitors, including meet and greet visitors, customers, and third parties, ensuring they have the right information and attention during their visits.
- Manage all day-to-day administrative tasks: cash handling, collections notes, and payment process, to allow all other departments to deliver our products in full and on-time.
- Be the first point of contact for internal communication, acting as a bridge between departments to ensure smooth management of orders.
- Support the Customer Service Manager and other Customer Service Officers, working as part of a team.
- Implement new procedures when needed and identify areas for improvement.
- Always go the extra mile for our customers.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least SPM/ "O" Level or certificate/Diploma
- Min 1 year of experience in customer service, sales support, or supplier management, preferably in the food and beverage supply or related industries; However, fresh graduate, who is a fast learner and a good communicator will be considered.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP knowledge would be an added advantage.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational, focus, attention to detail and a problem solver.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English; Other language skill such as Mandarin is preferred.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
