Responsibilities:
Civil & Structural Maintenance
- Inspect, monitor, and maintain building / warehouse structures, roofing, flooring, walls, drainage systems, and road works.
- Identify structural defects and recommend suitable corrective or preventive actions.
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance programs to ensure long-term sustainability of facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors on civil & structural repair, renovation, and maintenance works.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and cost control to meet timelines and budgets.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all works comply with statutory regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Support audits, inspections, and risk assessments related to civil & structural works.
- Maintain proper documentation for inspections, maintenance, and repair records.
Cost & Resource Management
- Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and procurement for civil & structural works.
- Propose cost-saving measures and sustainable solutions for building maintenance.
Reporting & Teamwork
- Prepare reports on maintenance schedules, inspections, and project updates for management review.
- Work closely with the Maintenance and Engineering team to support operational needs.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to internal teams when required.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil & structural maintenance, facilities management, or construction.
- Good knowledge of building materials, warehouses, structural integrity, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and specifications.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work under pressure, irregular hours, or attend to urgent repair works when required.
- Valid driver's license B2 & D.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
