Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Collection Officer cum Administrative to join our growing team. This dual-role position is ideal for a motivated individual looking to develop their career in finance and administration. You will play a key role in payment collection while supporting day-to-day administrative operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Collection (Primary Focus):
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collections
- Contact clients via phone, email, and formal letters to follow up on outstanding payments
- Negotiate payment plans when necessary and resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and update aging reports regularly
- Coordinate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and escalate high-risk cases
Administrative Support:
- Assist with general office administration including filing, documentation, and correspondence
- Maintain and update company records, databases, and inventories
- Support HR and finance departments with administrative tasks as needed
- Help organize company meetings, travel arrangements, and office supplies procurement
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in credit collection and/or administrative support preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software is a plus
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
