Job Role:
● To manage, monitor and report on all aspects of project cost control by ensure projects are completed within the approved budget. This includes cost estimation, budget allocation, expenditure tracking, variance analysis and forecasting.
● Analyze project requirements and prepare detailed budget estimations.
● Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure accurate cost inputs.
● Update and maintain the cost database and benchmark data for future project references.
● Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with the approved budget.
● Develop and maintain cost control systems, including cost coding, tracking tools, and reporting templates.
● Analyze cost variances and investigate discrepancies to provide actionable insights.
● Prepare regular cost reports (weekly, monthly) with forecasts and key performance indicators (KPIs).
● Generate cost performance summaries and provide recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
● Participate in the business negotiation of key contract orders.
● To comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction (WI), safety and quality requirement at all times.
● To ensure the cleanliness and safety of workplace.
● To adhere all safety rules and procedures as set by the Company.
● To maintain the departmental documentation.
● To perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
● Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Accounting, or any related field.
● Minimum 3 years of project working experience
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
