Saudagar Kambing Bakar or also known as is a Malaysian brand specializing in premium, halal grilled lamb dishes, expertly marinated and flame-grilled to perfection. Founded in the heart of Shah Alam, our mission is to deliver delicious kambing bakar (grilled lamb) that reflects the rich culinary heritage of Malaysia, while maintaining modern standards of quality, hygiene, and customer service. Currently, we are looking for a creative and results-driven Content Creator & Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for producing engaging content and executing marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support overall business objectives. You’ll work cross-functionally with design, sales, and product teams to ensure our messaging is consistent, on-brand, and optimized for each channel.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop a content calendar aligned with business goals, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Conduct audience research to identify topics, formats, and channels that resonate with our target segments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (product, sales, customer support) to gather insights and translate them into content ideas.
2. Content Creation & Production
- Write clear, compelling copy for blogs, social media posts, email newsletters, website pages, and promotional materials.
- Design or commission simple graphics, infographics, and visuals using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to accompany written content.
- Produce and edit short-form video content (e.g., tutorials, product demos, customer testimonials) for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Ensure all content is optimized for SEO: perform keyword research, craft meta titles/descriptions, and apply on-page best practices.
3. Digital Marketing Execution
- Plan, launch, and monitor paid campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads) to ensure optimal ROI and performance.
- Manage email marketing campaigns: segment lists, draft copy, schedule sends, and analyze open/click rates.
- Maintain company social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter): schedule posts, respond to comments/messages, and track engagement metrics.
- Leverage basic analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media Insights) to measure content performance, track conversions, and recommend improvements.
4. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with the design team to ensure visual assets align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Coordinate with sales/PR teams to repurpose content for lead generation, press releases, webinars, and events.
- Communicate regularly with customer support to address common customer questions or pain points through “how-to” articles or FAQ updates.
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare monthly performance reports showcasing key metrics (traffic, engagement, leads generated) and provide actionable insights.
- A/B test headlines, social media ad creatives, and email subject lines to optimize click-through rates and conversions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices—share findings with the team to iterate on strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in content creation and digital marketing, preferably within a B2B or B2C environment.
- Technical Skills
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest) and basic knowledge of on-page optimization.
- Experience managing social media platforms and running paid campaigns (Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot).
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) and video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
- Soft Skills
- Creative thinker with strong storytelling abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects/deadlines.
- Strong analytical mindset—able to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams.
