We are looking for a Commercial Planning Executive to drive the commercial planning process, on-going alignment of executable brand, customer & field sales plans that deliver on annual business targets and Co-ordinate execution and track delivery of commercial plans.
A day in the life of a Commercial Planning Executive
- Assist Manager in driving ICP process and continous refinement in accordance to best practices. This includes establishing governance on the ICP process & framework.
- Responsible to ensure winning commercial propositions are developed, executable and in line with category objectives and properly embedded in customer and field sales plans.
- Responsible to collaborate with Shopper Insights team for the common inputs (e.g. include macro-economic, industry trend, consumer & shopper trend, media evolution and competitor analysis) and outputs.
- Assist Manager to ensure the guidelines & timelines of NPDs are followed through the category development manager.
- Responsible in driving quality MBP process within Sales Division by aligning processes, timeline and templates across stakeholders. Ensure discipline and optimal ways of working for MBP preparation and Commercial Review leveraging available tools and analytics.
- Assist Manager for Quarterly Promotional Evaluation reviews; ensuring that learning is actively used to refine current year promotions and future category/ channel plans. Continous review of criteria in selecting promotions to be evaluated by liaising with Category/ Channel teams to produce promotional guideline.
- Responsible for Quarterly Activity Briefing by driving alignment of Marketing & Sales Team to ensure that the activities in the quarter is driving total NIM commercial objectives.
- Responsible to streamline data reporting through data analytics and automation to assist in decision making & adjustment of commercial plan.
- Accountable and responsible in overseeing ICD management, which include process inprovement, systematic checks of promotional entries into SAP and system support.
What will make you successful
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- With a minimum of 2 years experience in FMCG, Trade Marketing or Marketing experience or exhibits strong functional skill and leadership capabilities.
- Well versed in analysing P&L, Financial Systems, Processes and Controls.
- Successful in working cross functionally.
