Job Title: CAD Diagram Technician
Reports To: Operations Manager
Location: Port Klang Free Zone
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar, from design sketches and engineering specs
- Incorporate engineering redlines, design updates, and revisions—ensuring drawings meet manufacturability, tolerance and assembly requirements
- Liaise with design engineers, manufacturing, and procurement teams to clarify specs, validate materials, and optimize designs for efficient production lines and cost‐effective assembly
- Manage part templates, layer standards, symbol libraries, BOMs, version control, and documentation for approval cycles and production readiness
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in drafting, mechanical engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of experience
- Understanding of sheet metal, plastics injection molding, assembly methods, material tolerances and appliance-specific constraints
- Strong ability to apply mechanical drafting standards (GD&T, ANSI/ISO), accurately dimension drawings, and avoid missing callouts or critical tolerances
- Teamwork, communication and time management

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
