About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support a Banking Operations Transformation Project. This role is critical in analyzing, documenting, and improving operational processes within the bank to drive efficiency, compliance, and digital enablement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of banking operations, strong analytical skills, and experience with large-scale transformation initiatives.
Your roles & responsibilities:·
- Work closely with stakeholders across Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Product to gather and analyze business requirements
- Map current ("as-is") processes and design improved ("to-be") processes for key operational areas (e.g., payments, onboarding, KYC, reconciliations)
- Identify pain points and inefficiencies in existing workflows, and recommend data-driven solutions
- Collaborate with technology teams to define functional specifications for system enhancements or new implementations
- Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and feasibility studies to support transformation initiatives
- Support development and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) plans
- Track and report progress on deliverables to stakeholders and project governance teams
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory standards and internal policies
- Prepare high-quality documentation, including BRDs, process flows, and stakeholder presentations
What are we looking for in a candidate?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; or relevant certification (CBAP, PMP) is a plus
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with at least 2 years in banking operations or financial services
- Proven experience with operational process transformation, reengineering, or digitization initiatives
- Familiarity with banking operations systems (e.g., core banking, payment platforms, workflow tools)
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks in banking
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
