Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and ensure the quality of water supplied for boiler operations.
- Perform pre-startup checks on the boiler and related equipment before operation.
- Supervise firemen in feeding palm fibre into the furnace and ensure efficient combustion.
- Monitor steam pressure and temperature based on pressure gauge and related instrumentation.
- Ensure consistent and adequate steam supply to meet mill processing demands.
- Supervise firemen in clearing fibre deposits and prevent boiler blockages.
- Monitor the turbine’s performance and electricity generation output.
- Maintain accurate records of boiler parameters and turbine output.
- Ensure adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements including:
- Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994
- Environmental Quality Act 1974
- Factories and Machinery Act 1967
- Participate in scheduled inspections, audits, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Mill Engineer or Management.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Boilerman Certificate Grade 1 or Grade 2 (endorsed by JKKP).
- Minimum 1 years of experience operating boilers in a palm oil mill environment.
- Ability to operate and monitor boiler and turbine systems effectively.
- Able to lead a team of firemen and coordinate daily tasks.
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and safety awareness.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
