Job Responsibilities
Job Title: Billing / Claim Clerk
Location: Georgetown
- Prepare and issue inpatient/outpatient bills accurately via the Origin system
- Verify insurance eligibility and process Guarantee Letters (GL) with TPAs
- Submit claims and follow up with insurance providers and TPAs
- Handle billing disputes, adjustments, and reconciliations
- Liaise with clinical and nursing teams to verify billable items
- Manage sensitive patient financial data with strict confidentiality
- Provide support during audits and monthly financial closing
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Business Admin, or Healthcare Management
- 1–3 years’ experience in healthcare billing or medical claims (hospital/clinic/TPA)
- Familiar with insurance panel procedures
- Experience using hospital billing software) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and email communication
- Detail-oriented, able to work independently and under pressure
- Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin/Tamil an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
