Job Summary:
UCSI Schools is seeking dedicated and knowledgeable educators to teach Bahasa Melayu and Islamic Studies at both primary and secondary levels. The ideal candidate will instill a strong command of the Malay language and a deep understanding of Islamic teachings, while fostering students’ academic growth, critical thinking, and appreciation of religious and national values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Bahasa Melayu and Islamic Studies for primary and secondary students.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with national curriculum standards.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, curiosity, and active participation.
- Integrate religious and national values into lessons to enhance students’ understanding of Islam and Malaysian heritage.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure cohesive and consistent curriculum delivery across year groups.
- Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, parent-teacher meetings, and other community engagements.
- Continuously improve teaching strategies through professional development and staying updated on educational trends in language and religious education.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Bahasa Melayu, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification or certification (e.g., Diploma in Education, PGCE).
- Experience teaching Bahasa Melayu and Islamic Studies at both primary and secondary school levels.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire a love for language and religion while promoting national identity and critical reflection.
- Passionate about education and committed to the holistic development of students.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
