Job Description:
We are hiring for an Automation Testing Engineer to join one of our leading banking clients in Bangi, Malaysia on a contract basis. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in automation testing and a strong background in the banking domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Execute and manage test cases for various banking applications.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform regression, functional, and integration testing.
- Document defects and track resolution using test management tools.
- Support SIT/UAT activities where required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Proven experience in banking or financial services domain is mandatory.
- Experience with tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, JIRA, Tosca, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good understanding of banking applications and workflows (e.g., payments, loans, compliance).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Bangi (remote not applicable).
Note:
- Candidates must be based in Malaysia (Malaysian or expat).
- Visa sponsorship will be provided for overseas applicants.
- Open to candidates willing to relocate to Bangi.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
