Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Audit Executive to join our internal audit team. The successful candidate will assist in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance processes across our property development, property management, and investment portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits across various business units, including property development, leasing, and facilities management.
- Review and assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, business processes, and risk management practices.
- Identify areas of weaknesses or inefficiencies and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Prepare audit working papers, documentation, and draft audit reports in accordance with internal standards and procedures.
- Assist in the development of annual audit plans and risk assessments.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Support external auditors during annual audits by providing necessary information and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in auditing standards, regulatory changes, and real estate industry practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIA) are an advantage.
- 1–3 years of internal or external audit experience, preferably in the property or real estate industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with property development cycles, tenancy management, and real estate operations is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with audit or ERP software is advantageous.
- Willing to travel to project sites when necessary.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
