About the role
Work Location: 1Powerhouse, PJ (5mins walk from MRT Bandar Utama)
Reporting To: Regional Operational Excellence Lead
An Associate Operational Excellence (OE) primary role is to assist in analyzing business operations, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity. They work closely with senior OE professionals to support continuous improvement projects and ensure best practices are followed.
Key responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies.
- Data Analysis: Ability to interpret data for improvement.
- Project Coordination: Supporting improvement projects and tracking progress.
- Microsoft Product knowledge: MS Word, Power Point and Visio.
- Change Management: Assisting in organizational change initiatives.
- Communication & Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Technology & Automation: Familiarity with digital tools for operational efficiency.
- Support Green Belt/Yellow Belt program & PAD (Process Automation & Digitalization) projects in the absence of OE Lead.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or related fields.
- Exposure to business operations, project management, or performance analysis is beneficial.
- Experience in manufacturing, corporate strategy, or consulting is a plus.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management are advantageous.
